Junior setter-hitter Norene Iosia had her fourth triple-double of the season, her second straight, and senior opposite Angel Gaskin added 12 kills as Hawaii defeated Long Beach State for the fourth straight meeting, topping the 49ers 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-20 in a Big West volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Iosia had 26 assists, 12 kills and 10 digs for Hawaii (10-6, 6-1). Senior middle Sarah Liva added 11 kills and senior libero Tita Akiu had 16 digs, her 15th match in double digits, for Hawaii (10-6, 6-1).

Senior hitter Tyler Spriggs had 17 kills to lead Long Beach State (11-9, 3-4). The 49ers outblocked the Wahine 11-7, with senior middle Emma Kirst in on six.

Long Beach State also had the edge in digs, 65-61. Junior hitter Hailey Harward had a match-high 20 digs.
