Man stabbed multiple times in face, chest, arms in Hilo
A 39-year-old man is recovering after being stabbed in the face, chest and arms in Hilo and another man is in custody in connection with the incident, Hawaii island police said.
The man was stabbing at a home on Leilani Street at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday and taken to Hilo Medical Center where he was treated for his wounds. He was in stable condition this afternoon, police said.
At about 10:35 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 21-year-old Hilo man for investigation of second-degree murder.
