Pali Highway reopens after mudslide closes Kailua-bound lanes
All lanes of Pali Highway are open after a mudslide overnight closed all lanes in the Kailua-bound direction.
The lanes were closed at approximately 6 a.m. today after debris covered the roadway. Honolulu police turned traffic arround in Nuuanu at Waokanaka Street; vehicles heading into town were unaffected.
All lanes were reopened by 9:20 a.m. after state crews conducted rock scaling in the area and cleared the roadway.
