Firefighters put out brush fire near Wahiawa coffee farm

Honolulu firefighters responded to a brush fire in the area of a coffee farm in Wahiawa.

Six units with 19 firefighters responded to the blaze at Green World Coffee Farm Hawaii at 71-101 Kamehameha Highway about 10:20 a.m. today.

Honolulu Fire Spokesman Capt. Scot Seguirant said the fire was fully contained at 11:05 a.m.

Firefighters are still at the scene.

Police have shut down a section of Kamehameha Highway near the intersection of Kamananui Road.
