>> Under the Jones Act a foreign-flagged ship can call at multiple U.S. ports on a single voyage, discharge foreign import cargo that was loaded at a foreign port and load export cargo for discharge in a foreign country, but it cannot load domestic cargo at one U.S. port and transport and discharge that domestic cargo at another U.S. port. A story on Page B3 Thursday mischaracterized some of the routing restrictions.

>> A legislative conference committee meeting on a bill to require that real estate investment trusts pay Hawaii corporate income taxes is scheduled for 10 a.m. today. The day for the meeting was inaccurate in a story on Page B3 Thursday.

>> Iolani’s Celeste Inouye and Denby Nagata of Iolani defeated Punahou’s Alexis Matsunaga and Megan Flores 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 in the girls doubles finals at the ILH tennis championships on Wednesday. A story on Page C4 Thursday incorrectly reported that Inouye and Nagata defeated Punahou’s Jacqueline O’Neill and Cosette Wu.
