No. 5 Oregon State routs Hawaii women’s basketball team on road
The Hawaii women’s basketball team hung with No. 5 Oregon State for about a quarter and a half before the Beavers pulled away in a 64-32 rout of the Rainbow Wahine tonight in Corvallis, Ore.
UH (4-5) was held to a season-low scoring output as it shot 23.2 percent from the floor to 49.1 percent for OSU (8-0) of the Pac-12.
Guard Julissa Tago scored 12, while center Lauren Rewers had 10 points, but on 4-for-19 shooting, for the Wahine.
The Wahine continue their two-game road trip at Washington, also of the Pac-12, at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
