The Navy’s Recruit Training Command Great Lakes in Illinois released the photo of the 22-year-old sailor suspected of fatally shooting on Wednesday two Pearl Harbor Shipyard workers and injuring a third man before shooting himself.

Seaman Gabriel Antonio Romero, a machinist’s mate auxiliary fireman, was identified Friday by Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam as the suspect in the shooting in the area of Drydock 2 at the shipyard.

The Navy Exchange photo lab takes and owns the boot camp portrait photos, a Recruit Training public affairs officer noted.
