Woman, 62, injured after getting pinned by vehicle in Makiki parking lot

A woman in her 60s was hospitalized this morning after she was struck and pinned by a vehicle in a parking lot around 10:30 a.m. this morning.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said the woman, 62, was transported by paramedics to a local trauma facility in serious condition after being provided with life-saving treatment at the scene, 1290 S. Beretania St., which is the location of a Times Supermarket.

EMS said the woman suffered injuries to her torso, legs and one of her arms.
