California man injured in parachuting accident at Hana Airport
A 67-year-old California man was injured in a skydiving accident this morning at the Hana Airport.
The Maui Fire Department said that a fire crew and medics arrived on scene after receiving the 10 a.m. alarm and found the man was alert and conscious after having a hard landing by parachute.
He may have suffered a possible broken ankle, MFD said in a news release.
The man was taken by medics to the Maui Memorial Medical Center.
