‘Aggressive’ tiger shark seen at Makaha Beach

City officials posted a shark warning today for an “aggressive” tiger shark seen at Makaha Beach in Waianae.

The 10-foot-long tiger shark was seen “approximately 100 feet from shore at Makaha Beach,” according to the city alert.

Beachgoers should always check with lifeguards for the latest ocean conditions and call 911 in the event of an emergency, officials said.
