Man, 30, shot multiple times in McCully

The Honolulu Police Department has opened a second-degree attempted murder case following an early morning shooting in McCully.

Police said a 30-year-old man was shot by another adult male about 2:11 a.m. today in the area of 2012 S. Beretania St.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said they treated the man for multiple gunshot wounds before transporting him to a local hospital.

EMS said paramedics found the man shot multiple times in the torso. After administering life-saving treatment at the scene, the man was taken to a nearby trauma facility in critical condition.

Honolulu police continue to investigate the incident. No arrests have been made.
