Police are searching for a man caught on surveillance video, who is suspected of trying to break into cars parked in the Ward Avenue area last month.
Honolulu police released security camera videos of a suspect who attempted to break into several cars parked in the Ward Avenue area on Dec. 27.
One of videosshows a man with tattoos on his left hand and right fingers fleeing from an apparent car break-in. Another video shows the suspect loitering in a stairway area near parked cars.
The surveillance photo was taken on Dec. 27 at 2:30 a.m.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police at 529-3111 or CrimeStoppers at 808-955-8300, or dial *crime on cellular phone.
