Man, 54, nearly drowns in ocean off Waikiki
A 54-year-old man was in serious condition following an apparent near-drowning incident in waters off Waikiki on Monday.
Witnesses pulled the man from the water around 5 p.m.
Ocean Safety and Honolulu Fire Department personnel attended to the man until paramedics arrived.
He was transported to an area hospital.
