Coaching vacancies
Castle High. Looking for Varsity baseball Head Coach. Duties and responsibilties include: organize and supervise the program, relate to the student athletes, have preventative procedures in place, maintain finances, be accountable for equipment, take care of facilities and have public relations. College degree preferred, have knowledge of technical aspects of baseball, must have NFHS fundamentals of coaching certification and have at least two years of coaching at the high school level or above. Kahuku High. Looking for Varsity coaches in the following sports: Girls Soccer, Girls Water Polo and Baseball. The following qualifications will be given priority for each position: Head Coaching experience, Collegiate or Club playing experience and NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certification. Submit resumes to Wendy Anae at wanae@kahukuhs.k12.hi.us by May 31 before 5 p.m. Interviews are scheduled for June 18-22.
Volleyball
Hawaii Hilo volleyball camps. Conducted by Vulcan coach Gene Krieger. Camp on July 23-25 for ages 7-17 at Waimea District Park Gymnasium. Camp on July 29-31 for high school players at UH Hilo gym. Camp on Aug. 1-3 for elementary and junior high school students at UH Hilo gym. Fee for each camp is $75. Campers can stay at UHH dorms for $175.
