Brennan released

Colt Brennan was released from the hospital yesterday and will return to his family’s home in California to continue his recovery from a two-car accident and eventually return to playing football. "I am so grateful for all of the support I received," Brennan said. "I thank God to be alive today."

BYUH falls in women’s basketball

Samantha Stahl scored 26 points to lead Oakland City (Ind.) past Brigham Young-Hawaii 79-60 in a nonconference women’s basketball game yesterday at Cannon Activities Center.

Danna Lynn Hooper scored 15 points and Dara Tompkison added 14 for the Seasiders (1-3) against the Lady Oaks (2-3).
