Benefit for Warriors volleyball set
The inaugural A ‘o a Koa Scholarship Dinner, a benefit for the Hawaii men’s volleyball program, is scheduled for Jan. 7 at the Honolulu Country Club.
The event will feature a silent auction with sports memorabilia, and travel, golf, hotel and event ticket packages. Warriors coach Charlie Wade, his staff and former players will be in attendance.
Proceeds will help defray costs associated with the summer camps as well as summer-school scholarships for current UH volleyball players.
Tables of 10 range from $1,500 to $3,000 and include a variety of benefits. Individual seats are $75.
