Woman, 62, nearly drowns at Waimea Bay
A 62-year-old woman was in critical condition today following a near drowning at Waimea Bay.
Emergency Medical Services personnel responded to the 2 p.m. call and found the woman unconscious. They resuscitated her before transporting her to an area hospital.
The incident may have been precipitated by a medical event, according to an EMS spokesperson.
