Man dies of apparent drowning off Haleiwa
Police said a 48-year-old man died Friday afternoon after being pulled from Haleiwa waters.
The man was taken to the hospital. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead.
There were no signs of foul play, police said.
The case is pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
