2 charged in alleged robbery in Waianae


Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery in Waianae on Sunday.

Kason Tiave, 20, of Waianae, and 36-year-old Eric Inada of downtown Honolulu were each charged with second-degree robbery Monday.

Police said Tiave and Inada approached a 33-year-old man and demanded his property. The suspects fled the scene but were located and arrested less than an hour later.

Tiave’s bail was set at $25,000, Inada’s at $11,000.
