Hello Kitty truck to visit Honolulu
Hello Kitty fans, mark your calendars for June 17 through 19. That’s when the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be crossing the Pacific Ocean and arriving at Ala Moana Center for its first appearance in Hawaii, stationed in front of the Sanrio store.
The truck will serve sweet treats from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. all three days. They include a five-piece macaron box set ($15) with one surprise Sanrio character macaron inside, a three-piece Hello Kitty cookie set ($12), and a four-pack of mini cakes ($15).
In addition to the goodies, a Hello Kitty Cafe mug ($13), pink Hello Kitty Cafe T-shirt ($25), bow-shaped water bottle ($4) and bow headband ($30) will be available.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck debuted at Hello Kitty Con in October 2014 and has been rolling up to festivals and events nationwide ever since, spreading Sanrio’s message of happiness, friendship and fun.

Should be a hit with the Kitty fans and a money maker for the company…
I’m looking forward to the Hello Kitty riots. You know how uppity those Kitty people get.
Remember back in 2009 when the Oscar Myer Wienermobile visit the islands and the local eco terrorists, The Outdoor Circle anti billboard freaks went skitzo. Said the Wienermobile was in violation of all laws banning billboards, was illegal to drive around on our streets, must immediately be loaded up and sent back to the mainland. Some real loser whackos wearing their tinfoil hats. Ref: http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2009/Jul/24/ln/hawaii907240364.html
When it made the national news, the entire USA was laughing at the backwards baboozes in The Outdoor Circle for picking on a childhood icon. What were they thinking? Were they thinking?
Lets hope when Hello Kitty Cafe Truck comes to the Nei they don’t try the same stunt again. Sad to say sometimes you just can’t fix stupid.
Defend Kitty!
