No. 14 Wahine volleyball team sweeps Fullerton
Senior hitter Annie Mitchem put down a match-high 13 kills and No. 14 Hawaii remained tied for first place in Big West volleyball with a 25-19, 25-13, 25-19 sweep of Cal State Fullerton tonight in Fullerton, Calif.
Sophomore hitter McKenna Granato added nine kills with one error, hitting .421, for the Rainbow Wahine (16-5, 9-1). Senior opposite Nikki Taylor had seven kills in playing the first two sets, tying her with Emily Hartong for 11th place on the program’s career list with 1,277.
Mitchem was in on seven of Hawaii’s 10.5 blocks and Taylor in on six.
Madeline Schneider led the Titans (6-17, 1-8) with 11 kills. Libero Madisen Babich had 23 digs.
First place will be on the line Friday when Hawaii hosts Long Beach State (15-8, 9-1) at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. On Oct. 8, the 49ers held on for a five-set win over the Wahine at the Walter Pyramid.

Looks like Taylor banged up. She had ice pack on her knees and was limping.
Not a very good match considering Fullerton is at the bottom right now.
If they play like that against UCI in a cpl weeks they will have a problem.
Friday is a must win against LBS.
