The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii is sponsoring the Freedom Run on July 4. The run begins and ends at Kailua High School. Distances are 5K, 10K and a 1-mile walk. The entry fees are $35 for the run and walk. Applications can be obtained in HawaiiSports magazine, which is distributed to sporting goods establishments, shoe stores, health clubs, gyms, fitness facilities and bike shops, etc. Also, copies can be obtained at the Epilepsy Foundation office at 1050 Ala Moana Blvd., Suite 2550 or can be downloaded here.
Sign-ups will still be taken at the packet pick-up at the Epilepsy office today starting at 10 a.m. and 30 minutes before the race. For additional information, call the Epilepsy office at 528-3058 or Ed Kemper at 225-2965. For updated information, visit the Epilepsy Foundation website.
