Hawaii’s Casey Castillo watched her kill attempt fly past the Cal State Fullerton block.

Senior middle Emily Maglio put down 13 kills without a hitting error and senior libero Savanah Kahakai passed the 1,300-dig mark as Hawaii celebrated the 23rd anniversary of the opening of the Stan Sheriff Center with a 27-25, 25-11, 25-14 sweep of Cal State Fullerton tonight in a Big West volleyball match.

Junior hitter McKenna Granato finished with a match-high 15 kills for the Rainbow Wahine (15-5, 9-1), who ran their record against the Titans to 38-0. Kahakai had 19 digs, giving her 1,312 for her career and moving her within three of Tara Hittle for No. 4 on the program’s all-time dig list.

Madeline Schneider had 11 kills for Fullerton (4-18, 0-9), which lost its 24th straight conference match dating back to last season. Libero Cady Francis had 17 digs.
