Police arrested a 21-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted a 45-year-old man in Haleiwa.
At about 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Emergency Medical Services said the suspect assaulted the victim near 7-Eleven. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.
Police arrested the suspect shortly after 8:25 p.m. on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder.
