Woman, 25, dies in apparent Waikiki drowning
A 25-year-old woman died at the hospital Monday night after she was found unresponsive in the ocean at Kaimana Beach in Waikiki.
Emergency Medical Service personnel were called to the Kaimana Beach area at around 6:40 p.m. Monday and found the woman unresponsive in the water.
Paramedics took her in critical condition to the hospital, where she died just before 8 p.m., officials said.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death.
