Man extricated from SUV in Kalihi

The Honolulu Fire Department pulled a man out of a sports utility vehicle after a multi-car crash on Kamehameha IV Road near North School Street last night, a fire department spokesman said.

The crash happened at about 9:47 p.m. Three children, two under ten years of age and an infant, who were passengers in the SUV were already out of the vehicle when the fire department arrived. The man in his 30s was extricated at 9:56 p.m. and transferred to an ambulance. His condition was not immediately available.
