Two men wearing ski masks allegedly assaulted a man with a baseball bat in a Waikiki hotel room yesterday afternoon, police said.

The suspects, ages 31 and 20, had a falling out with the victim, police said. The two suspects then went to the man’s hotel room carrying a bat and zip ties, hit the victim with the bat and demanded money, police said. They left empty-handed after a struggle.

Crime Reduction Unit officers located the suspects and arrested them yesterday afternoon in Makiki after a foot chase near 1801 Keeaumoku St.
