Caldwell to command Pacific Fleet’s Submarine Force

Rear Adm. James F. Caldwell Jr. will be assigned as the next commander of the Pacific Fleet’s Submarine Force at Pearl Harbor. 

Caldwell is currently serving as commander of Submarine Group 9 at Silverdale, Wash. 

He will replace Rear Adm. Douglas J. McAneny  who will be assigned as commandant of the National War College in Washington, D.C.
