Members of the Faith Action for Community Equity are launching a petition drive against a bus fare increase.
The petition will circulate at the group’s meeting tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church. In the next few weeks, the 27 church that make up FACE will adopt a bus stop to gather more signatures for the petition.
The higher bus fares will take effect on July 1.
