A single mother’s stolen convertible has been found but the Christmas presents for her children in the trunk of the car are still missing.

Tracy Egger says the car was stolen from outside her Mililani home sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

She says she had used the trunk as hiding place for presents for her two children.

KHON reports that minutes after her story aired on television Wednesday, the car was spotted by viewers in a Wahiawa bank parking lot.

KITV reports Honolulu police checked the car for fingerprints.
