Honolulu police responded to reports of a driver going the wrong way on the H-2 Freeway today near the Ka Uka Boulevard overpass, but weren’t able to find the car or driver.

Several calls came in to police at about 6:50 a.m. of an elderly man in a silver Toyota driving north on the left shoulder of the south-bound H-2 Freeway, according to police radio scanner traffic.

Wahiawa police confirmed that officers searched the freeway for the car and driver, but officers did not find anything.
