The Medical Examiner’s office has identified the 21-year-old man, who was killed Monday when he lost control and was ejected from his motorcycle at a Salt Lake military housing complex, as Remington Price.

Price had just visited relatives and was leaving the Halsey Terrace Community Center parking lot at 11 p.m.

Police said he may have been speeding.

An autopsy showed that Price bled to death from a ruptured aorta.

Price was taken to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.

He was wearing a helmet.

The accident is the 49th fatality on Oahu this year compared to 46 at the same time last year.
