Paramedics took a 63-year-old man to the hospital in serious condition Thursday morning following a two-car collision near Maili Beach Park.

Emergency Medical Services said the accident occurred at 5:39 a.m. at Farrington Highway and Kaukamana Street. The second driver refused medical treatment.
