A 30-year-old inmate was reported missing from the YWCA Fernhurst work furlough home where she lives today, the Department of Public Safety said in a news release.
The YWCA staff reported Kiana Kaauwai missing just before 1 p.m. She was not authorized to leave the home.
Kaauwai is a Women’s Community Correctional Center extended furlough.

Kaauwai’s next parole hearing is scheduled for later in December.
She faces an additional escape charge.
