Power outage reported near Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam
Power is out at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam along the waterfront, Ford Island and Navy Exchange, affecting traffic in the area with lights out on Kamehameha Highway.
Reports late this afternoon were that a Hawaiian Electric Co. substation had a failure, and the subsequent outage may have led to several accidents.
