Crews remove downed electrical pole from highway along North Shore
UPDATE: 7:30 a.m.
Although crews have cleared the downed electrical pole, police are not yet letting the majority of traffic pass.
Police so far are only letting the Kahuku wind farm convoy pass through the area.

Kamehameha Highway has been closed in both directions between Velzyland and Waialee beach due to downed electrical pole and live wires across the roadway.
The closure is in the area of 58-130 Kamehameha Highway by the Crawford Convalescent Home.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
